Why Choose Metal?

Why should you consider a metal roof instead of shingles? A metal roof gives your home a clean, upscale appearance and helps your home look fresh and beautiful. Corrugated metal roofs also last longer than shingled roofs. If the thought of replacing a shingle roof has you sighing, choose a metal roof. Never have a blown-off shingle again!

No Shortcuts, No Leaks, No Worries

We follow best practices for installing corrugated metal roofing. In most cases it is not necessary to remove old shingles, so to reduce your cost we lay down furring strips to provide a solid foundation for the screws in your new roof. Instead of just caulking around chimneys, we cut a small groove into the chimney to eliminate any gaps that water might seep through. We change all the flashing around dormers to make sure it is done right, and we make sure your new roof provides proper ventilation.

40-Year Warranty — You Can Count On It

High-quality metal will outlast shingles every time, and you get a worry-free warranty to back it up. The metal is guaranteed not to crack or peel for forty years! Rusting and fading are also covered by the warranty. Invest in a metal roof with confidence!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do metal roofs last?

We use metal that carries a 40 year warranty. The most important factor is proper installation, our team has unmatched experience and pay special attention to details that could potential leak to insure that your roof will last 40 years and beyond!

How much do metal roofs cost?

Typically the upfront investment is slightly higher, however a quality metal roof will last 2 to 3 times longer than shingles. In addition some of the cost can be recovered in lower insurance premiums, lower cooling costs and possible tax rebates.

Can a metal roof be installed over an existing shingle roof?

Yes, in most cases a layover is the best option. It is extremely important however, to install furring strips over the existing roof before the metal is installed. This provides much more material for the screws that fasten the metal assuring that they will stay tight and secure for the life of the roof, however screws that are just driven in to plywood tend to loosen in 8 -10 years.
